- Orientation Day for July Intake 2010
- On July 2nd, 2010, Raffles International College (RIC) Hanoi held a successful orientation day with more than 100 new students attending from the July intake.
- The enrolled students chose different areas of specialization in the Design and Business areas including: Management, Banking & Finance, Marketing, Tourism & Hospitality, Visual Communications, Interior Design, Fashion Design and Interactive Media Design. Many scholarships were awarded on the day to outstanding students who did extremely well in the admission examination.
- Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Alex Quah, Director of Raffles International College, gave a warm welcome to new students and introduced the policies, learning environment and teaching staff at Raffles. On behalf of RIC, he also committed to creating the best opportunities to help students experience a real working environment. This will be achieved through field trips and internships in many large and reputable companies including our industrial partners Sofitel Hotel, Melia Hotel, Sheraton Hotel, Somerset, Fraser Suites, VP Bank, ANZ Bank, Pepsi, Honda, IBM, UMA Design, and Cisco Systems.

- Also in attendance at the ceremony were current students studying at Raffles. They spoke to the new students about the many school activities that are held and some of the more popular college clubs such as the Football Club, Music Club, Movie Club, English Club and Charity Club. Students were very keen to register with the schools clubs and hopefully by joining them it will give them the chance to participate in great recreational activities as well as make some new friends.

- Kim Tae Woo, a new Raffles student from Korea, shared this personal insight with us: I think Raffles is a really good environment to study in with a clean and modern building and 100% foreign lecturers. I really like the school clubs because I can not only gain communication skills, but also share my knowledge about my major. Moreover, I can also make friends with many people here. I have already joined the Music and English Clubs. I am ready for this next big step in my life

- After the next intake in October, Raffles International College will have more than 400 students specializing in Design and Commerce receiving premium higher education in order to obtain Diplomas or Bachelor Degrees. With the best educational environment, Raffles hopes to equip students with a solid foundation of knowledge to bring them greater opportunities for career development.
